A new life in the heart of the city

After years of living on the outskirts of North London, Laura and her partner Andrew, both healthcare professionals, were looking for a more vibrant pace of life. Swapping leafy suburbia for Hackney’s eclectic creative energy, they wanted to make the most of having all London has to offer on their doorstep, especially given their globetrotting lifestyle took them away from home regularly.

With their beloved cat in tow, they moved into the Hide development just across the road from our Work/Shop, downsizing from a large house to a 2 bedroom flat. Passionate about supporting local craftspeople and artists, Laura has curated an original collection of clothing, paintings and curios that had already been edited down during the move. She needed practical furniture that would enhance the existing space and that could also display and protect her treasures.

Lozi was the perfect choice to expand on the existing joinery, having originally created the wardrobes and kitchen cabinetry for the Hide development six years ago.
